Two Speed One Winding

Highlights:

These RediStart solid state starters provide reduced voltage stepless

control of two speed three phase AC induction motors.

The two speed starter can be used with two speed, two winding mo-

tors. It contains a ten SCR power section or it can be used with two

speed, single winding motors.

The logic control incorporates MX

or MX

technology with all the cir-

cuitry required to drive the power semiconductors located in the

power section.

Benshaw RediStart two speed starters are electronically interlocked

so that a start cannot be initiated at one speed if the starter is already

running in another.
